Maternity Shoot by Papier Hat

I'm glad that we have our maternity shoot earlier at 6 months..because i look way chubbier and uglier now.. despite all the sweat and tiredness of the shoot since it's an outdoor shoot, it's all worthy looking at the outcome! love their approach of props arrangement and editing! 

so happy to have this moment captured and will definitely show these batch of her still in my belly!

Times really fly! Today marked the 11months i moved to SG 

7 months working and I'm growing closer to 30 day by day! 

if someone tell me i'm doing what I'm doing right now a year ago, i will definitely say no way!

as a year ago i'm really happy with my freelance jobs, one way ticket, life in KL with family around, we actually planned to get pregnant a month before hubby is informed to moved here to work!

and plan canceled! too bad! if not i would have a baby in my arm now~ 

but i'm not blaming anyone or complaning as i know deep in my heart its all God's plan to us   

now hubby is blessed with a better job (he changed to another company recently) and I'm used to 9 to 5 life! the only thing i really miss is our family and church members..

been asked by few people what i really want to do in future, my answer is always housewife! hahah

seriously i don't even bother to be freelancer anymore! i just want to be a simple housewife..or homemaker (a nicer name) 

i love the idea of taking care of babies preparing meals for husband and kids! can't wait the days to come maybe i will regret but at the meantime that's my ultimate goal! haha added that in my prayer list.

just being random if not this post it's gonna be too short, my belated birthday gift from hubby

6Tips for my #OOTD Photos

So happening this September! i barely have times to blog or jot down what's happening here

trust me i really miss blogging.. my september is really awesome!

spend quality time back home in KL and short vacation in bkk with hubby for my birthday

once i got back i'm busy with work mum and sis came visit then september just end like that!

 back too the trip i love vacation meaning i have endless ootd pictures! haha

so i'm taking to write this post of how to take nice ootd images

1. Background

i personally don't prefer messy background like this but the lighting is nice and give a different feel to the outcome so be bold when choosing background. my first option will always be depth rather than near to wall or backdrop so you will look lively and less boring. It's good to have a lot of options so you can avoid direct sunlight and find colors that compliment your clothing!

2. Invest a good lens

this set of photos are taken by Sony alpha a6000 with 35mm f/1.8 lens

a lot of people though of buying dslr for better quality outfit pictures actually you don't need to as long as you have a moderate mirroless camera that allow you to change lenses you can opt a better lens with good aperture to create nice blur depth of field images 

meaning to say if you have good dslr but a kit lens.. it's actually don't bring big different to the outcome

3.Details/ close up in the look

for ootd details is best to shoot it landscape and focus on less than 2 thing in your outfit for example here all i want to focus is just cut of the top and print of the skirt, try not to be too ambitious eg. put your hand up to feature accessories or watch... i love my photos to be minimalist

4.Good Lighting & Timing! 

Natural light is always the best solution for a great OOTD with a good lighting you basically do not need to edit the picture. I normally shoot my ootd outdoor before i head to a destination when i still look refresh, you wouldn't look good after a movie or whole day shopping right? so timing is important too! the only cons of shooting outdoor is always have strange staring at you but just not try to pose too hard to avoid awkwardness be yourself stare somewhere else than looking straight to the camera! *that my tips!aha

5. Poses

 is best if your photographer take candid pictures so you don't look to stiff
but i do have standard ootd pose just like pictures above this (wearing shade) one of leg is front so my leg look longer hand just relax..

6. Find Your Angles
You may try a bunch of different angles and see what you like, my hubby always have to squat down to take my ootd from below so i appear taller  (since i'm 5'3") in the pictures!

My sisters visit this saloon on her last visit 

and she really love their services and haircut so she highly recommend us to have our hair cut there
Boy is a Japanese hair saloon situated in Siam Square above one of the boutique
Always love how Japanese work they are patient and pay full attention on details and of coz Japanese hair style are to die for 

the interior more on vintage and minimalist
very comfy and homey feel!

there are japanese (1000bath- haircut & wash) and thai stylist (800bath - haircut & wash)
we option for Japanese stylist 

 Ishii Yoji

i got my hair dye last minutes too..hehe
the color he give me is a pink base brown..
after 2 hour of cut and color i missed my mango tango meal, and shopping time
but its all worthy at very very reasonable price! (3800bath)

August New Room

one of the way to de-stress is to change my room color and design!

with wall mural pattern we always re-position the bed make it facing the window 

luckily my mouted side table didn't turn out awkward..that's why i don't like mounted furniture..

Vintage Cafe

i enjoy style and planing concept for each couple in One Way Ticket

It's been sometimes since i have a concept shoot for me and hubby just in time for our 1 year anniversary 

so we planned a shoot with our photographer and also her boyfriend right after our shooting project in cameron

we take turn to shoot pictures for each other, it was fun 

actually im the one who love to kacau him like that.. 
rather different to have photoshoot after wedding
maybe because we are closer now and we do not feel paiseh with all the intimate poses..haha
maybe we should have a Post-wedding photoshoot in future for owt

the setting is very very vintage! anyone wish to know where??
