Hair Fix @ number76, Bangsar

Finally a proper hair fix after pregnancy and deliver!

the kiasu me went booking for a slot last October then another booking on November for husband!

coz i know Chinese new year is normally the peak period all slot sure fully booked! 

i'm back to my stylist whom i stick with for 2 years plus - Calvin at bangsar branch

he always know what i want for my hair so i got no worries when my precious hair is in his hand..

speaking of my 'precious' hair they are really precious to me now coz i loss bunch of them each day after baby turn 4 months! i remember my brother in law once warn me that after baby start smiling at you that's the time when you start dropping hair..omg so true ok! those smiles make the hair loss all worthy though..just that i'm worry do i even have that much of hair to drop 

okie back to my last visit at number 76 bangsar

i want to cut my hair short other than post-natal hair fall another reason of me losing hair is my baby keep pulling my long hair! it's so painful and heartpain at the same time! already balding this and baby is making the situation worst..

so short hair may solve my problem, and treatment! a lot of treatment! i didn't have any once i got pregnant till almost six month baby i miss ultra sonic treatment so much!

in conclusion i just miss good hair day..

so Calvin suggest their signature ultrasonic treatment to repair my current hair condition together with Shiseido Adenovital Scalp Treatment to solve that works to boost hair generation and combat hair loss

Calvin give me a hair cut as i requested it to be short! also a "air" bang..haha old already must act yige young!

House Tour

We moved in to our own rented hdb around 3 months!

tho its cost a bomb for us but its all worthy for our little family to grow.. since we still have long way to go in order to get our own house in Singapore..but who know where we ended up after 3 years..

but is amazing how God lead us..hubby in second company in Singapore which gives him a better career prospects, i'm not a career women as long as he is happy im wiling to follow wherever he decide to pursue his career even if he finally decide to go back to KL helping up family business..as long as we are together..

back to the topic so this is our humble little house in Singaland for at least 2 years

living room..i like the brightness and touch of vintage of the old windows 

no we don't have curtain since the sunlight is just nice and why waste money..since only 2 house sharing one lift so not much people pass by our corridor so we have enough privacy

only sofa is from the landlord we have to buy our TV, console, and my anniversary gift from hubby 'future nursing chair' (ya i know its not the proper one but i love the design)

then the dinning area which is my favourite corner of all

got the dining chair shipped from taobao in very affordable price reuse my previous computer desk as dinning table.. save money and everyone who came love the lightbulb..

then kitchen landlord have it designed like a professional kitchen with all stainless steel cabinet

i don't quite like it when we first came for house viewing too rusty of my liking 

but after cleaning the place and re-arrange everything i find it easy to maintain 

then is the master bedroom that divide to 4 part which consists the bedroom area, dressing area, walk-in wardrobe and the toilet and now we spilt one more area in the bedroom for baby Chloe

Common room that we use it as guest room and study area also a common bathroom at the kitchen area which i lazy to take photos of..

generally i like this place very much! money well spend as ill be spending the important part of our life raising up a baby..

Daddy please continue work hard for us ok! We love you~

Awesome second trimester

I'm more to my normal self on second trimester just a double size belly

when i look back i couldn't remember much for first tri other than vomit and sleep

So far i gain 6.5KG and doctor say baby size is normal and i'm not concern about the weight gaining 

my mum confidently say that she do not have water retention problem during her 4 pregnancy so i shouldn't have that too..Thanks God so far i haven't see it coming will see what happen on 3rd trimester

little bump is getting bigger and active each day, everyday i'm happy to feel baby's kicks or burp in my tummy, it seems to be a signal or assureance for me to tell my baby is healthy and kickin

i'm not sure whether is just me or what, i tend to be very caution of things i do that affect baby

so i google a lot! xxxxx good/bad for pregnancy? is my top google search question 

for example food like kimchi, red snapper,or activity i planning to do swimming, chlorine water in the pool an blah blah blah 

can see my focus is changing when i eat unhealthy food i feel extra guilty not for my weight but my baby who will get nothing nutritious from the rubbish food i ate..i guess that everyone experience as a first time mum-to-be some more i don't have my folks or in law with me to give me advice or cook for me so i feel extra responsible to my baby

been reading articles for breastfeeding and joined breastfeeding support group too 

i really really hope i can make it for my baby i feel extra stress when none of my family or relatives are doing it they are formula supporter. So i have my plan having my confinement in Singapore with hiring confinement lady i know whom help my friend with breastfeeding. Try to avoid negative energy around so we planning to invite in law and my family over after my confinement and of coz pray to God for strength and supply...do all my part and see how it goes

we're moving to our own space next two week!

no more sharing with others.. and we love this house that we chosen

house viewing within 2 week and we settled with this it's gonna be burden to hubby coz it cost double  and more the price we paying right now but for privacy and baby it's all worthy! have been busy with household shopping and first time in our life we brought our own TV and washing machine ahha i know is not a big thing to many but really we're so amaze and realise we're gown up adult..

Just got back yesterday from our babymoon in Bali 

glad that we did both of us need a break my our work and this busy city life and of coz before baby join our family we need a retreat 

have great time spending together, we talk a lot during the trip what we do just focus on each other no work no computer just us and i make him promise to bring me for such trip once a year 

till then, update soon on my trip or maybe our new home in Singaland or maybe my maternity shoot

Recommend by Sharon, if you ask me whether is it good...i'm not sure

coz right now i just want to prevent stretch mark appear so far haven't notice any yet, thanks God

so i think it's working pretty well

use oil at night and cream in the day time, the sales assistant give me few travel size too so i can bring it to work with me..

3. Daily Breakfast 

my fast breakfast in the morning so i have energy to fight with crowd in the train and bus..ya sound like a battle to me, i don't drink birdnest everyday tho and not sure whether it help just for the sake of drinking since my father will constantly check my birdnest supply

 i can't sleep without it once i own it, love it to max..

#5 Moisturizing Lotion

my skin turn very dry these day so i try to force myself to apply lotion as much as possible

weight myself every morning and night monitoring my weight so i know how much i gain 

not only me gaining weight hubby too! haha he reach his heavier weight recently! 

Today we may found out baby gender! can't wait to go to the doctor later to meet our little baby bump

6Tips for my #OOTD Photos

So happening this September! i barely have times to blog or jot down what's happening here

trust me i really miss blogging.. my september is really awesome!

spend quality time back home in KL and short vacation in bkk with hubby for my birthday

once i got back i'm busy with work mum and sis came visit then september just end like that!

 back too the trip i love vacation meaning i have endless ootd pictures! haha

so i'm taking to write this post of how to take nice ootd images

1. Background

i personally don't prefer messy background like this but the lighting is nice and give a different feel to the outcome so be bold when choosing background. my first option will always be depth rather than near to wall or backdrop so you will look lively and less boring. It's good to have a lot of options so you can avoid direct sunlight and find colors that compliment your clothing!

2. Invest a good lens

this set of photos are taken by Sony alpha a6000 with 35mm f/1.8 lens

a lot of people though of buying dslr for better quality outfit pictures actually you don't need to as long as you have a moderate mirroless camera that allow you to change lenses you can opt a better lens with good aperture to create nice blur depth of field images 

meaning to say if you have good dslr but a kit lens.. it's actually don't bring big different to the outcome

3.Details/ close up in the look

for ootd details is best to shoot it landscape and focus on less than 2 thing in your outfit for example here all i want to focus is just cut of the top and print of the skirt, try not to be too ambitious eg. put your hand up to feature accessories or watch... i love my photos to be minimalist

4.Good Lighting & Timing! 

Natural light is always the best solution for a great OOTD with a good lighting you basically do not need to edit the picture. I normally shoot my ootd outdoor before i head to a destination when i still look refresh, you wouldn't look good after a movie or whole day shopping right? so timing is important too! the only cons of shooting outdoor is always have strange staring at you but just not try to pose too hard to avoid awkwardness be yourself stare somewhere else than looking straight to the camera! *that my tips!aha

5. Poses

 is best if your photographer take candid pictures so you don't look to stiff
but i do have standard ootd pose just like pictures above this (wearing shade) one of leg is front so my leg look longer hand just relax..

6. Find Your Angles
You may try a bunch of different angles and see what you like, my hubby always have to squat down to take my ootd from below so i appear taller  (since i'm 5'3") in the pictures!

Cafe Hopping @ BKK

hola! im back..today im gonna share 2 of my favourite cafe in BKK!!
my BKK crave is here again..can't wait to go soon~~
i really enjoy cafe hopping especially when come to travel! relaxing and people watching is fun too!
maybe im getting old~ a pack and hectic travel and try to achieve every tourist spot is not my cup of tea now! im more looking for beach villa trip, relax city tour~

After You, Silom Complex

i know i mention this so many many times!!is still my favourite dessert so far!
i use to visit the branch in Siam paragon..but it was so crowded everytime and queue is never ending!
you can't really enjoy your dessert or chat there..so sis tien bring us to the one in Silom Complex..

so much spacious and less crowd! we should come here earlier!!
the environment here is way better 

since we're early and no people in the cafe, photo session!

the apple crumble is good!!! so good~ honey toast is as good as usual..

its my second time here tho.. i still love it very much and much affordable~

beside having drink or cake you can even shop here! they sell postcard, deco stuff, scented products and more
i love their design and concept and i will never come out with empty handed

even their cup put a smile! 

we choose a nice seat beside the window! so we do our people watching activities here and yeah nice sunlight! mean more pictures!
