Baby Chloe - 3 Months

where does the time go?
Chloe is already 3 months and going to be 4 months in 10 days!

it's been an exciting 3 months plus spending with this cutie 

amazing how fast she picking up new skills everyday and can't stop to surprise us!

3 months old at 59cm, 6.3kg 

Chloe Milestones at 3 months

• Lift her head high on tummy 
• Always attempt to sit on her own whenever you put her on the lap
• Little PR (she smile to stranger from cleaning Aunty in the mall to doctor who examine her provided she in her good mood if you smile at her she normally smile back - giggles and laugh out loud when you tickle her cheek or tummy)
• Fixed to her routine quite well and taking longer nap and more wake time in day time also there's some occasional day when she just want to play all day! 
• Laugh out loud at random stuff we say like "Getchu" "Cha" 
• Vain Pot (love looking at herself in front of mirror can't stop smiling at her refection too)
• Chatty (especially when she woke up in the morning)
• Express herself (Started to shout when she excited n scream when she's annoy especially you try cradle carry her )
• suck on a fist or a few fingers (that's her favourite activity i read since is one of the best ways babies have of comforting themselves so i just let her be all i do is clean her hand often) 
• Always kick her leg n wave her hand whenever I pass by her rocker I Guess is her signal of asking me to carry
• Grab things like hair and our neck skin haha that is really painful
• Okie to be carry by others when in her good mood 
• Started to enjoy bath time (hopefully I don't jinx it) no crying for a week already except when you carry her out from the tub n dress her I think she want to be in the water longer.
• Drink less or not at all when we're out especially in Church for Sunday Service i guess she don't like nursing cover as there's no proper nursing room in church and overwhelmed by surrounding all she want to do look around and kepo

For Mummy

• understand her clues better
• more relax on parenting
• breastfeeding have become a bliss (target bf is 1 year old)
• secretly love/enjoy it when she only recognize me or want me to carry
• more me time
• wish there's some time off to catch a movie or a date with hubby

of Parenting

my girl never fail to give me new patterns everyday, we both are learning new things each day 

she is now more responsive other than milk and sleep she want to play too! she giggles and laugh out loud at stupid or most lame thing me and hub do which is very rewarding

my mum say she is a little PR as she smile back to anyone who smile at her (provided she's in her good mood) she smile at random cleaning aunty in the mall to doctor who going to examine her 

Hope she continue be a happy baby and bring joy to others and us!

this 3 months we have been trying to adjusting her to fit in our lifestyle i must say it require a lot of patient a lot more than any other job or test i faced in my life so far! haha 

we read parenting books, study baby behaviour, get advice from other parents and the folks back home..

we listen too much from others saying keep carry her later she demand to carry all the time, don't rock her to sleep later she can't fall asleep herself, don't let her sleep on boob don't nurse to sleep, faster start train her to sleep thru there way too many don't

its give me extra stress made me think how fail am i yes she want to be carry all the time, yes i have to rock her to sleep in daytime, and yes i nurse her to sleep and i do all the don't

 everyone have different say and judgement but once my friend told me something that hit me she told me "every baby is different don't stress out go with her flow and slowly adjust her most important is to enjoy the time with her because all this doesn't last long one day she will eventually wean bf so no more nurse to sleep, she will learn to crawl and walk who want to be carry by then baby will grow out of these so call 'bad habit' eventually..so why stress"

I did try my best to train on sleep routine but not for the carry part because this girl cry a lot and she don't just cry she scream like bloody murder yes she is that fierce 

so now i always remind myself every babies is different so there is no right or wrong do, in order to make my motherhood more enjoyable i choose to have her happy and we're happy as long as it's follow God's word, and even if it goes against the wisdom of the experts, it's working for us that matter most~

Hi as a mother

Hi from 4 months long hiatus almost thought of abandon this space when the domain is expired but couldn't bear to lose all the memories i jot down here so yeah i'm back with my new title!

A Mother

such a happening 4 months i regret didn't take the effort to write them down so now i got nothing to read back and recall.. but i do blog on and off casually in dayre though a good platform for mummy especially!

i wish to write my birth story, my confinement woes, life being a SAHM but sitting in front of the computer seems to be luxurious thing in my life right now as i'm on 24/7 call for Chloe, i carry her feed her play with her when i'm not i probably be doing some house chores or trying to nap ( yes trying! i have trouble taking nap in the daytime) im not complaining i enjoy it thus far 

and good news is that now i tend to have my 'me time' at least once in a day while my princess is having her nap normally her afternoon goes rather long (hopefully i don't jinx it)

many ask me how is parenthood my answer is always pandahood! sleep is precious! a non-interrupted one 8 hours straight! that never happen to me once i gave birth to my girl because we are on fully breastfeeding and she have yet STTN (which i don't expect that to happen so soon, just let it happen naturally) 

Thanks God for my very hands on husband
he always there to help and take care of us from change nappy to put baby to sleep he has been doing a great job as a daddy!

House Tour

We moved in to our own rented hdb around 3 months!

tho its cost a bomb for us but its all worthy for our little family to grow.. since we still have long way to go in order to get our own house in Singapore..but who know where we ended up after 3 years..

but is amazing how God lead us..hubby in second company in Singapore which gives him a better career prospects, i'm not a career women as long as he is happy im wiling to follow wherever he decide to pursue his career even if he finally decide to go back to KL helping up family business..as long as we are together..

back to the topic so this is our humble little house in Singaland for at least 2 years

living room..i like the brightness and touch of vintage of the old windows 

no we don't have curtain since the sunlight is just nice and why waste money..since only 2 house sharing one lift so not much people pass by our corridor so we have enough privacy

only sofa is from the landlord we have to buy our TV, console, and my anniversary gift from hubby 'future nursing chair' (ya i know its not the proper one but i love the design)

then the dinning area which is my favourite corner of all

got the dining chair shipped from taobao in very affordable price reuse my previous computer desk as dinning table.. save money and everyone who came love the lightbulb..

then kitchen landlord have it designed like a professional kitchen with all stainless steel cabinet

i don't quite like it when we first came for house viewing too rusty of my liking 

but after cleaning the place and re-arrange everything i find it easy to maintain 

then is the master bedroom that divide to 4 part which consists the bedroom area, dressing area, walk-in wardrobe and the toilet and now we spilt one more area in the bedroom for baby Chloe

Common room that we use it as guest room and study area also a common bathroom at the kitchen area which i lazy to take photos of..

generally i like this place very much! money well spend as ill be spending the important part of our life raising up a baby..

Daddy please continue work hard for us ok! We love you~

The Final Trimester

People in the office have been commenting that i've been pregnant forever!

every Monday morning when they see me they will go like "Hey why are you still here?" , "When are you going to rest and give birth?" 

but to me times really flies and here i am at Week 37 to be exact we have 2 weeks and 4 day left till the EDD! Baby Chloe is now at correct position weighing at 2.6kg but not fully engage yet according to our Doctor she will still stay in there for another week or two but to be safe i got my hospital bag packed and baby clothes washed.. I'm ready anytime when you ready, baby

This is last week for me at work, I'm going off for my 3 months maternity leave and i can't wait for that! travelling to work is really tiring for me as my bump is really big and heavy 

also i'm extra clumsy, 2 weeks ago i fall down at home when i step out of the washroom..scare die me 

i hurt my knee but Thanks God didn't touched my bump and baby still active and kicking  

These are the symptoms i'm having now at this stage

Pelvin Pain - nothing new but getting worst whenever i stand from siting its hurt so bad! and finally i know why every pregnant lady have the same walking pattern and i now walk like that too! holding my back and super slow with my steps

Insomnia - especially after my midnight toilet break, i read this somewhere "Mother Nature’s way to prepare you for the sleepless nights ahead" like seriously? i'm now trying my best to catch up as much sleep as i can now but this mother's instinct thing is keeping me awake?

Same weight- since week 33! I'm worried the first time in my life i worry of not gaining weight but doctor say is fine as long as baby is gaining and okay. Many women don’t gain any weight at all during the last month.

Can't stop drooling at night - this is weird hahaha.. but yeah

I couldn't be thankful enough to God how He have blessed us throughout the whole pregnancy..especially after reading so many cases of miscarriage at different stage of pregnancy, i'm so sad when i saw this news of a lady i followed in instagram, she bring me smile whenever she post picture of her bump her joy can be read from her captions and i enjoy every single post of her so much.. after a few months when i remember to check her out again in IG and found out she loss her baby at week 39..it really affected me and feel so sad for her and make me realise it's all depend on God's plan and mercy from the beginning baby is the gift from God, He can give and take it back anytime..no matter how careful a mother is to protect the baby in the womb anything can happen.. all we can do is to pray and surrender also cherish every moment baby is in bump safety! Continue praise for this miracle that God gives us!

I'm glad that we have our maternity shoot earlier at 6 months..because i look way chubbier and uglier now.. despite all the sweat and tiredness of the shoot since it's an outdoor shoot, it's all worthy looking at the outcome! love their approach of props arrangement and editing!

Baby Chloe's Nusery

 Yup, name is decided for our baby girl

actually chinese name got more meaning..also got next baby name in mind liao..haha obsessed mummy is obsessed..

since im in week 36, time to get everything ready before im getting very clumsy and heavy

first thing first the baby nursery since i have her wardrobe prepare way before this and i'm now banned from buying clothes for her 

Today gonna show you where she gonna spend her time at

we don't have a room for her so she taking half of our bedroom since our cot is very mobile we can push her out of the room whenever we want! haha

Color scheme that used for the nursery

only 2 furniture for her..cot and the changing table!

and that's her first soft toy i called her the raindrop that daddy approve it's unique and cute..

 Ikea changing table haven't fully equipped with baby's changing stuff yet so now only deco stuff

Diapers, thermometer, wipes, baby toiletries (nail clipper, powder, diaper rash cream, cotton ball, Q-tips), Baby Wash Cloths, burp cloths, socks, mitten, and anything i missed out?

i supper love the pink diaper bin i got from taobao i read somewhere a close and quiet diaper bin is very important so i invest bit on this and of coz option for a pink one!

but now i can just enjoy my time staring at this corner while waiting our little princess to arrive..

Surprise Baby Shower

Never thought of a having baby shower till my friends at work throw me one last Sunday

it was indeed a surprising one because they even coordinate with hubby 

chatted with him for a week planing on this! 

i don't even realise anything weird in the office or house normally I'm very alert..i blame pregnancy!

actually i blog it on dayre day after the baby shower but feel like writing down a proper post here for memory purpose!

so that was a normal Sunday to me, no plan for weekend as usual all i want to do is to relax and chill at home.. even shopping sound tiring to me now (super sad i know)

that morning i woke up having headache but still bearable so we make our way to church after the service we head home and hubby say he gonna bring me high tea later after my usual Sunday nap

bit sneaky but i never think so much maybe he feel bad for me carrying his baby everyday stomach so big body figure went out of shape..and all so he want to feed me good food..thats what i thought at first la

after my short nap..my headache is still there so i thought we shall postpone the plan to next week as i wish to sleep longer..but he insisted and tell me that he make a booking so cannot cancel must go..

then i suddenly thought of the date another 2 day is our 3rd year anniversary! that's why he say must go..hmp sneaky ar not the usual him lor! maybe got present some more! haha ok die die must wake up..put on make up and dig the "nicest" dress i have.. 

finally reach the cafe and this greeted me and bunch of beautiful people i meet everyday at home

they even plan on the decoration, booked the place and the effort of keeping this secret from me

so touching! 

is everyone first attend a baby shower so basically we just eat our food talk bit nonsense and take plenty of pictures! 

and they made me unwrap the presents they prepare for me.. apparently i look extra happy

i don't remember when do i received so many gifts at a times already! a Christmas for me eh no for baby C!

Awesome second trimester

I'm more to my normal self on second trimester just a double size belly

when i look back i couldn't remember much for first tri other than vomit and sleep

So far i gain 6.5KG and doctor say baby size is normal and i'm not concern about the weight gaining 

my mum confidently say that she do not have water retention problem during her 4 pregnancy so i shouldn't have that too..Thanks God so far i haven't see it coming will see what happen on 3rd trimester

little bump is getting bigger and active each day, everyday i'm happy to feel baby's kicks or burp in my tummy, it seems to be a signal or assureance for me to tell my baby is healthy and kickin

i'm not sure whether is just me or what, i tend to be very caution of things i do that affect baby

so i google a lot! xxxxx good/bad for pregnancy? is my top google search question 

for example food like kimchi, red snapper,or activity i planning to do swimming, chlorine water in the pool an blah blah blah 

can see my focus is changing when i eat unhealthy food i feel extra guilty not for my weight but my baby who will get nothing nutritious from the rubbish food i ate..i guess that everyone experience as a first time mum-to-be some more i don't have my folks or in law with me to give me advice or cook for me so i feel extra responsible to my baby

been reading articles for breastfeeding and joined breastfeeding support group too 

i really really hope i can make it for my baby i feel extra stress when none of my family or relatives are doing it they are formula supporter. So i have my plan having my confinement in Singapore with hiring confinement lady i know whom help my friend with breastfeeding. Try to avoid negative energy around so we planning to invite in law and my family over after my confinement and of coz pray to God for strength and supply...do all my part and see how it goes

we're moving to our own space next two week!

no more sharing with others.. and we love this house that we chosen

house viewing within 2 week and we settled with this it's gonna be burden to hubby coz it cost double  and more the price we paying right now but for privacy and baby it's all worthy! have been busy with household shopping and first time in our life we brought our own TV and washing machine ahha i know is not a big thing to many but really we're so amaze and realise we're gown up adult..

Just got back yesterday from our babymoon in Bali 

glad that we did both of us need a break my our work and this busy city life and of coz before baby join our family we need a retreat 

have great time spending together, we talk a lot during the trip what we do just focus on each other no work no computer just us and i make him promise to bring me for such trip once a year 

till then, update soon on my trip or maybe our new home in Singaland or maybe my maternity shoot
